AcademicMinor Programs
Clayton State offers a variety of minor programs for students to enrich the
overall educational experiences of students. Minors are not required for
graduation, and certainminors areavailableonly to students in specificmajors.
In order to graduate with a formal minor that will be noted on the student's
permanent record, the student must complete the requirements for the specific
minor as stipulated in the onlineCSU catalog. Themajor advisor is responsible
for reviewing a student’s progress in the minor. Students must submit to the
Office of the Registrar a minor application along with the degreegraduation
application by thepublished graduationapplicationdeadline. Minorsmay onlybe
awarded in conjunction with a baccalaureate degree. Minors will not be
awarded after the baccalaureate degree has been posted to the academic
transcript.
