MISSIONANDGOALS
TheCollegeof ArtsandSciences has four primaryobjectives:

To offer baccalaureateandmasters programs.
•
To provide students with the sound background in general education
that theywill need during their collegeexperienceand after graduation.
•
To provide coursework in support of programs of study offered by other
schoolsof theUniversity.
•
To offer programs of study for pre-Professional areas of study for
transfer toother universities.
All instruction in the College of Arts and Sciences addresses one or more
outcomes and uses a variety of assessments to determine a student’s progress
in developing the knowledge and abilities necessary to demonstrate that he or
shehas achieved theoutcomes.
