The Office guides departments and units regarding the ap- plication of brand identity elements as well as consistent messag- ing and responds to requests for authorized and appropriate use of the copyrighted University logos. The University Communications Guide is edited by the staff and contains guidelines for a myriad of questions – such as speaking with the media, ordering sta- tionery, signage, and e-mail.
A comprehensive market research project was completed in 2010 providing baseline data for the next step of strategic market positioning. The Image and Communications staff is engaged with projects involving brand implementation and other communica- tions initiatives, such as working with the Marketing and Adver-

tising Committee to assure collaborative outreach efforts. Dolores Cox joined the University in 2000 after sixteen years with the Mercer University School of Pharmacy; she grad- uated from Clayton State with a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies degree in 2009. Leanne Bradberry began working with the Office of University Image and Communications as a student intern in 2002 and became the second member of the staff in 2004 follow- ing completion of her Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology. Shannon Crupi holds a Master of Education in In- structional Technology and was formerly with Kennesaw State
University; she joined the department in 2011.

The Office of University Image and Communications works closely with the Office of University Relations to tell the story of Clayton State in a number of media, including photography and videography. The latter efforts include both video for the University web pages, and for the YouTube Channel, ClaytonSTNews.
