Tournament Championship, and a final rank- ing of 12th in the NJCAA. A former student- athlete in the basketball program, Baldwin was also an assistant on the Clayton State Laker basketball staff for six years.
ANDREA CALDWELL
(B.M. Music Performance ‘00)
Caldwell, of Fayetteville, GA, performed in Spivey Hall earlier this year with the Southern Crescent Chorale. Caldwell, a mezzo so- prano, was one of four soloists in the perform- ance. After graduating from Clayton State, Caldwell earned a master’s degree in vocal performance from Austin Peay State Univer- sity. She also studied and performed in Salzburg, Austria and had the opportunity to work with opera singers Grace Bumbry and Sylvia Plyler. In 2003, she moved to Cincin- nati to serve as a private instructor of voice.

JEFF M. WILSON (B.S. Nursing ‘02)
Wilson, of Jonesboro, was
awarded the prestigious
Georgia Hospital Heroes
Award at the Georgia Hos-
pital Association’s (GHA)
annual Hospital Heroes
Awards. One of only 10 in-
dividuals statewide to receive the award, he was recognized for his role in medically treat- ing Haitian earthquake victims, as well as sol- diers in Iraq. Along with working as the Education Program Manager at Piedmont- Fayette Hospital, he also serves as a captain in the Air Force and is a member of the 94th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron at Dob- bins Air Force Base. Wilson was named one of Clayton State’s Outstanding Alumni Award recipients in 2008.

Thomas is nearing completion of a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Boston University, where he earned a Master of Music degree.

Sr. Communications Spe- cialist in the Clayton State Office of University Rela- tions, Lauren Graves, along with her husband Levi and their three-year-old son Logan, welcomed Leah to the family on Jan. 31, 2011.

Ajayi and Taylor re-
cently completed the
NCAA Leadership Institute program held in Boston. Ajayi works at Emory University as the Events and Marketing Director for Athlet- ics, while Taylor is an Assistant Athletic Direc- tor for Compliance at Southern Methodist University.

served as deputy director of
the Newton County Water
and Sewerage Authority for
13 years and currently serves as the city’s li- aison to the Newton County Water and Sew- erage Board of Directors. He was appointed by Governor Nathan Deal to a third term on the Georgia State Board of Examiners for the Certi- fication of Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators and Laboratory Analysts.

KRISTEN EGERDAHL (A.S.D.H. Dental Hygiene ‘96) Egerdahl, of Newnan, GA, recently returned from Kath- mandu, Nepal after partici- pating in a humanitarian dental clinic organized by Global Dental Relief, a char- itable organization that has
brought dental care to children in Nepal since 2000. Egerdahl, who has worked in the office of Dr. Tommy Turkiewicz in Peachtree City since 2003, was one of 20 volunteers.

Magill has been volunteering in the mission field for the past five years, serving in Kenya, Tanzania, Ukraine, China and Thailand. He is creating his own Christian, nonprofit global collaborative media group, based in Atlanta. Its mission is to produce a vast, diverse array of media designed to equip those seeking to meet the physical & spiritual needs of people
