AcademicStandards
Nursing students must maintain a semester grade point average (GPA) of
2.00 (“C”) to progress in the program. Aminimum grade of “C” is required in all
upper division andmajor courses. Students who receive a "D", "F", "WF", or "U"
in any nursing coursemay repeat that courseone timeonlyon a spaceavailable
basis. Students who receive any two of the following: "D", "F", "WF", or "U" in
any two nursing courses may not continue in the program. Reference BSN

RN-BSNCompletionTrack
Admission
The RN-BSN track is available for registered nurses with an associate
degree or diploma in nursing who meet University admission requirements.
ClaytonStateparticipates in theGeorgiaStatewideArticulationModel.
Nursing application is separate from University application and admission.
The program is 100% online and can be completed on a full-time or part-time
basis. Graduates are prepared to practice in diverse health care settings,
includinghospitals, homes, clinics, hospice, industry, and community.
There is also an RN-MSN program option in Nursing Education or
Leadership. Students will earn both BSN andMSN degrees upon completion of
