Collegiate Schools of Business) represents the highest
standard of achievement for business schools
worldwide. Founded in 1916 by seventeen of the
nation’s premier business schools, including Columbia
University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, and
HarvardUniversity, AACSB is committed to quality and
continuous improvement inmanagement education
To earnAACSBaccreditation, a business schoolmust
undergometiculous internal review, evaluation, andadjustment—aprocess that
can take from three to seven years. During this period, schools develop and
implement aplan intended tomeet the21AACSB standards that requirehighly
qualified faculty, aswell asa commitment to continuous improvement and
keeping curricula responsive to theneeds of business.
Thereareover 500 institutions around theworld that haveearned specialized
AACSB accreditation for their business schools. ClaytonState is part of theelite
group thatmakes up less than 15 percent of theworld’sbusiness schools.
