Minor Program inCriminal Justice
The criminal justiceminor will introduceClayton StateUniversity students in
other major degree programs to a) key components of the criminal justice
system, b) the nature of the crime problem in theUS, and c) themajor theories
about criminal behavior. In order to graduate with a formal minor that will be
noted on the student's permanent record, the student must complete the
requirements for the specificminor as stipulated in the onlineCSU catalog. The
major advisor is responsible for reviewing a student’s progress in the minor.
Studentsmust submit to theOfficeof theRegistrar aminor application alongwith
the degree graduation application by the published graduation application
deadline. Minors may only be awarded in conjunction with a baccalaureate
degree. Minors will not be awarded after the baccalaureate degree has been
posted to theacademic transcript.
