OFFICE OF COMMUNITY STANDARDS
POINTS OF PRIDE
The University cross-trained six staff members (from both inside and outside the Division) to serve in key roles as conduct officer, conduct investigators and training facilitators. These adjunct Community Standards officials helped the Office to meet the new conduct procedural requirements mandated by the University System of Georgia.
The Office of Community Standards trained its largest- ever University Hearing Panel class in Fall 2016.
For a 7th consecutive year, the Office of Community Standards received the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety Youth and Young Adult grant. This grant provides funds to assist the Office in educating students and the campus community about safe driving practices.
The Office of Community Standards experienced a 10percent increase in conduct matter referrals for 2017.
