University Health Services has worked over the past year to enhance the patient experience by making electronic health records more accessible.

The department enhanced its online patient portal by creating an online version of the Tuberculosis Screening Tool, one of the required immunization documents for new students which makes it easier for students to become compliant in a timely manner.
UHS also created an interface between the state vaccine registry and our electronic health record to reduce the manual research of vaccinations by UHS staff and enhancing accuracy of the immunization documentation through the import of vaccination data.
In addition to electronic record enhancement, UHS continued to provide outreach activities through presentations to student organizations, Main Street events, orientation events, Welcome Week activities as well as a PACE partnership with the Department of Psychology.
