Although known by most current students as the name of the student run newspaper, the Bent Tree - originally located in the footprint of the James M. Baker University Center (UC) - was a campus icon. Also called the Question Tree, it was said to symbol- ize questioning students seeking an education. A cast of the tree is located at Legacy Court near the Quad entrance of the UC.
