prepare undergraduate students for graduate and professional schools or
employment in the chemical sciences. The chemistry curriculum includes a core
of chemistry, physics, and mathematics courses that will provide the students
with skills essential for all chemistry-related careers, and will be combined with
directed electives in an area of interest. Students will be prepared for the
following professional programs: medical school, dental school, pharmacy
school, veterinary school, and physical therapy and physician assistant
programs. This curriculum is also designed to prepare students for the following
graduate programs: chemistry, biochemistry, public health, environmental
