The Bachelor of Science in Integrative Studies requires students to complete a
minimum of five (5) upper-division (3000-4000 level) courses in a single
disciplinary area or related course groupings as approved by the Integrative
Studies Coordinator/Director (e.g., HLTH, HCMG, HFMG, etc.) Additional
courses may be drawn from any field, but must be in the student’s advised
program of study. Students may also obtain the Bachelor of Science in
IntegrativeStudies degree by completing aMinor in a discipline other than those
housed in Arts and Sciences. Fulfilling the courses in a single disciplinary area
allows students to claim a strong knowledge base in an area of their choice
which helps tomove them toward achieving their academic and career goals. No
more than 18 hours of 1000-2000 level coursework may be applied to this
category.
Courses designed for the BAS degrees may not fulfill requirements: AVEL,
AVMT, CAPL, CITZ, CNET, DSGN, ELEC, EMS, FSMD, HDSK, MKTG, OFFC,
SUPR, and TECH. Other courses which do not apply: CCSU, PHED, Learning
Support courses,WLABand courses designed specifically for othermajors.
