of the top NCAA Division II programs in
the Southeast. The Lakers shot a 4-over
par final round of 292 to finish with a
three round total of 870 at the Turtle Point
Yacht and Country Club in Killen, Ala.
For Clayton State, junior Alex Vetnar led
the way for the Lakers, finishing second
overall and only six shots behind low
medalist Scott Lamb from Rollins on the
par-72, 7,133 yard course. Vetnar had a
final round 68 after rounds of 75 and 69
